- DANIEL LIS - Graphic Designer

Hello there! My name is Daniel Lis. I'm a freelance graphic designer since 2006. I graduated with a Computer Graphics Diploma in 2005 from International Academy of Design and Technology and completed in 2004 a Design Foundation Certificate from Humber College. I have advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Word with advanced computer understanding for both PC & Mac operating systems. From schooling I have an understanding of QuarkXPress, Dreamweaver, Flash and Soundtrack but have not used those in years.

As a Graphic Designer, I am responsible for equipment set up and location layout, this is mainly when capturing images by photography. I have an understanding of the need to have proper lighting when wanting to capture better quality of the persons, places or things needing to capture digitally on a digital camera. From the captured images, I crop out what is not needed and create a final image agreed upon by myself and the client. I have over 2 years experience in business card design and client outreach.

As you can see in the images of my portfolio, I have done work from flyer creation, brochures, posters, cards, and a lot of image editing. This is where I specialise in graphic designer but would also like to expand into more creative roles.

On my spare time I dabble in Adobe Premiere Pro in creating and editing videos for myself of work I have created or other ideas I want to fulfil onto video. I also dabble in a beat creating program called FruityLoops which I also play around with for fun and have been lately adding some creations to my videos.
